Thanks A Lot 05:24
You say that things were meant to be that way You say things you remember should never change You say that when you first say the world It shifted your thought You say I should adjust my views Whether I like it or not I told you all about the Jesus freaks Who delivered me from evil While I stepped in their piss One would hope the righteous could only Escape the streets Emotions are scientific A product of chemistry We all feel them in various degrees of intensity Guided by voices Talking heads on a screen We all know absolute truth From the shit we glean Zombie mentality within us Craves the news Fashioned to fit nicely Within our family rules This is a time to be alive But our predecessors have failed us Nothing but Jesus on their minds They’ve all but nailed us to the cross that they built strong To benefit themselves Oppress the lower class Say they’ve been real generous While greed blackens their hearts You’ve birthed us to figure out Doubt and complicity Poisoned us and turned the world inside out Religion is a product of Oppression raised in the heat Until they solve Avoid the lapse A feeling they’ve been given But always taken from the start

You don’t know what you are saying Could you please come down to Earth and we could talk about it I’ve lost all sense of really knowing you Lost letters from a war we don’t speak of Always Lost or hidden away Fates can change I hear her words ringing in my head I ask myself “what do you long to be?” The lost potential of a refugee What would my past self think of the current me A version fleeced in doubt and insecurity And its Constantly Ahead or falling behind Life is now Still her words still ringing in my head Would you please come down Don’t make a sound Won’t let them hear Let me be clear I won’t be coming home No Truth be told I can’t wait til the big one finally drops When we’re ashes nothing matters And no one is in charge No more debt No more lies No more truths No more ties To what we thought we were And what we swear this mess is all about

22 Years 04:12
For 22 years bastion Alone never was so fun Dios mio man Blacklist stock of contraband It’s not like I can see through All of the shit you spew You’re so goddamn beautiful Thy bibles more tasteful A bike that I stole from you Too steep my mind’s untrue Delphic the Lord’s day Tossed off into the grey Board games are tedious A full pour of idleness Go on take a stab Karkinos donned cancer crab I loved every move that you made I loved every word that you said I loved every thought that you had So when did it fall apart For 34 years captive Adhering to my own end I wrecked me to find me No solace inside thee

Since Then 04:44
Since the first light Appeared in the sky Appeared in the sky Since the first bird Spread its wings for flight Spread its wings for flight Since the dusk proceeds the night I can’t stop thinking of you I can’t stop thinking of you Since the world came crashing down Since I moved away from our small town Since this electricity began the fires Since these burning embers Of our desires Our desires We burn away To be reborn tomorrow Strengthened from our sorrows We burn away To be reborn tomorrow Strengthened from our sorrows Begin to end From start to finish Time I spend Life moves on With or without you Then it's gone Since the dawn Ends the night I can’t stop thinking of you I can’t stop thinking of you Since my remorse Changed trajectory of our course I can’t stop thinking of you Dreaming of you We fall apart To be rebuilt tomorrow Wishing and hoping for love We fall apart To be rebuilt tomorrow Wishing and hoping for love

Almost Never 03:50
Don’t wanna let you go, believe me it’s so Dragging us down, refusing to grow My wasted time is all that you need Get down on your knees Grovel and plead We don’t wanna see You losing ground Not waiting on me We don’t wanna feel No we don’t wanna be let down If you could only see How flawed your efforts are to me You’re not backing down But you’ll leave with a frown You’re the poison on my lips You’re the bitter sweet goodbye kiss Like the devil promising bliss The angel I always miss Like a moth drawn to a flame You’ve no one but yourself to blame

Call Me Out 04:39
You call me out You call me out And I come around You soften the blow A lifetime coming And you only said two words You call me out You call me out And no one knows Just how high it goes But you dear know How low I can go And I’ve been waiting here for you to Make some sort of decision But I can’t wait forever If it's gonna come to him Waste my time Waste my life Waste it all to prove I’m the one who’s wrong And no one knows Just how high it goes But you dear know How low I can go And you can’t tell me why We’ve been going down the wrong road Can’t you feel it all come down Down Down

about

The band worked on this record over the span of 2020, and put the finishing touches on the record in early 2021. The completion of this record was slowed due to the complexities of the pandemic, and the unrest in the Twin Cities surrounding the death of George Floyd.

The band channeled the ambience of world events into their collective creative streams of consciousness, to deploy an arsenal of fury into six new songs.

This third EP from the band meanders into many different realms: shaming the religiously pious; lamenting at lost love; the nagging drive to live in the here and now; indignation toward authority and political toxicity.
